Sand Scorpions
in the Armed Service
Just thought I would send you a couple pics we took lately. We hope to get a few more before some of us get out of here. The attached pics were taken during our return back to Kyrgyzstan after the government coup. A few of us were sent to another base near Abu Dabi...in the middle of the largest dunes in the world (and me without the Banshee!)! If all goes well, some of us should see you all at Moses Lake on Memorial Weekend! I hope to hook-up with you then, I have something to thank you all for your support.

A soldier is someone (Navy, Army, Marine, Air Force & Coast Guard), who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to their country for an amount up to, and including, THEIR LIFE! That is an honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact! Thank you ev...eryone for the support...you are the reason i serve my country.                                                                                                   Brian Faircloth.

Wallace Bates and his son came by the Sand Scorpion camp on Saturday Memorial weekend and presented us with a present from the 376 Expeditionary Maintance Group. We recieved an American Flag that was flown in combat over Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan with a certificate of authencity and a great picture of his Air Force group from Spokane. We have Sand Scorpion members in this group and was able to send them t shirts, stickers, and hats while they were stationed in the Middle East. .
